New Beginnings

Hello, everyone! This year was my first time switching schools since kindergarten. I'm a freshman in high school. Honestly, middle school was a living hell for me. High school is so much better, and I definitely chose the right school: Baltimore School for the Arts.

Below are pictures of my friends and me. Some of them are new. Some of them I already knew, but I've become closer to them.
This is Lizzie. She plays violin, and she's always very understanding. She also will listen to anything you have to say--no matter how stupid she think it is. She's a total sweet heart. I've also heard her rehearse her recital piece. It seems like a very difficult piece but she plays it so effortlessly.

This is Cameron. She's super funny, nice, and accepting of others and their opinions. I knew her a little bit before BSA, but we're better friends now. She plays trumpet, and she plays it very well too. I have no classes with her, which sucks, but I still get to send her ugly selfies on snapchat.

This is Shira. She's the sweetest girl I know. She's super caring and gentle. I've never heard her say anything rude. I also like that she tolerates my weird faces that I make at lunch. She plays violin, just like Lizzie.

This is my best friend, Ikemba. He's probably the weirdest person (in a good way) that I've ever met. We're always there for each other and he seriously gives the best hugs because he's always really warm. He's an actor. He was explaining why he was a good actor, and it was truly amazing to hear what he said. This isn't an exact quote, but he explained:
He has low self esteem and he sometimes wishes he was someone else, and acting is a way he can be someone else to escape his own thoughts for a little while.

These girls are Gabby (left) and Katie (right). I'm the one in the middle making a face. Gabby, a visual arts major, is also one of my best friends. She's always there when I need anything, and she's completely hilarious. She's also very straight forward. She will tell you the truth as long as it doesn't hurt your feelings. She's just the definition of awesome, and she's one of my best friends ever.

Katie, stage tech major, is super sweet to everyone. She has a great sense of humor, and she is one of my favorite people because she gave me one of those itchy, plastic spider rings on halloween. It was the coolest thing ever. The picture above is at the Issues Journeys Noise Tour. Gabby and I went together, and we didn't know that we'd run into Katie.

Even though there are fifty trillion more people on my list, the last person I'm gonna talk about is Maia. We met at TWIGS, and we've been super close ever since. She's always there for me and everyone else. She never judges and is super talented. Like me, she's a vocal major. I love her so much, and she will forever and always be my best friend.

Those are all of the friends I'm going to talk about, but all of them have given me a chance to escape the assholes (excuse my language) at my old school and accepted me. They've given me a new beginning, and I'm so thankful for that.
If any of my friends read this:
I love you all so much!
Have a great day!

Coffee Breaks 5

Hello, everyone! How are you all doing? Lately I've been very behind on my school work. Mostly the bigger projects. If you have any tips on how to avoid procrastination, they will be greatly appreciated.

I've also been designing a photography site on weebly. I'm planning on starting a photography business. I haven't sorted everything out yet, so it's still in the making. I also know that I always say that I'll start posting more..... I mean it this time. I'm going to schedule tons of posts. I promise!

There has also been tons of drama at school lately. I personally hate drama. I try to avoid it, but that's impossible because my close friends are involved in it, so they rant and vent their feelings to me, but I don't say anything about what they said. That would just cause even more drama. Drama=chaos=stress.

That's all I really have to say for today. Just to let you know I'll be in Ohio for Thanksgiving, so I'll definitely have bunches of new pictures.
Have a great day!

Friends at Baltimore School for the Arts

Hello, everyone! Yesterday I brought my camera to school. We had extra time in American Government, so I decided to take out my camera.

Being a student in the music department, I found Alanah's necklace extremely relevant.

Almost all of my academic classes are on the fifth floor, and the views are always gorgeous. This is the view from my American Government class.

Since we finished class early but we couldn't leave the classroom yet, we all goofed around, and I got some pictures of my friends.

This is Zen. He is a huge goofball, but he's hilarious.

I took a pictures of the height difference between Chloe and Sera. I never realized how tall Chloe is.

I wasn't able to bring my camera out again until before English class started.
My friend, Dina, has the best fashion sense, and I couldn't resist taking a picture of her boots.

These awesome people are Dina (right) and Maddie (left). They are both super funny and extremely talented.
These are some of my friends at BSA. I love them all to death. I have many, many more friends, but I couldn't capture photos of all of them.
I hope you have a great day!

Updates!

Hello, everyone! I'm trying my best to schedule a bunch of posts to keep my blog active, but school is very time consuming. I actually have a post coming up on how I balance school with the other parts of my life. The second quarter of the year has just started, so I'm more adjusted to the schedule. I'm much happier at BSA than at Roland Park, and it's a huge deal for me to be happy with school. This is just a quick hello. I hope you all have a good day. Btw: the building in the picture above is my school lobby. It's so gorgeous. Anyways.
Have a great day!

Daily Fall Makeup Routine

Hi, everyone! For anyone in the Northern Hemisphere, Fall is just around the corner. It has definitely arrived in Baltimore. Today's high temp is supposed to be 55 degrees. Anyways, Fall is my favorite time of the year to do my makeup because of all of the gorgeous colors.

First, I apply my Bobbi Brown Corrector in the color Light. This product has a very pinkish undertone to it, and it comes in very handy when I'm highlighting my under-eye area. Before this I did apply my Bobbi Brown BB Cream in the shade Light, but I decided to to photograph my makeup routine after I applied it.

To finish off my face makeup, I take my translucent pressed powder from Bobbi Brown and powder my face.

For blush and highlighter I used my Forever 21 cream cheek blush. I didn't photograph it because it is very messy because of how often I use it. My highlighter was the Watt's Up highlighter from Sephora.

To start of my eyes, I applied my ELF Eyelid Primer. I finally got an eye primer! I'm so excited.. Yay!
On my lids, I used ELF's Golden Goddess palette. It has gorgeous Autumn colors. It's definitely my favorite palette ever.

First I apply the color labeled "BASE," and I use it as a highlighter for my brow bone and a solid color to put the rest of the eyeshadow on top of.

For my lid, I use the color labeled "LID" and swipe it across my lid a few times to get a strong pigment.

The last step in my eyeshadow is applying the color labeled "CREASE" into my crease. I feel like this color is the most important color in the palette for Fall colors. I also got a new blending brush, so I always make sure to blend.

For eyeliner, I take a medium to dark brown eyeliner pencil and line my upper lash line and waterline and half of my bottom lash line and waterline.

To finish my eyes, I apply generous coats of my favorite mascara.

To finish off my makeup, I apply a Makeup Forever lipstick that looks quite bright, but it actually very natural.

This is my finished makeup. Let me know what your favorite fall beauty products are or leave a link to your fall makeup routine in the comments. Have a great day!
